ജീവിത കഥ – എന്തുകൊണ്ട് MI Theory?*

*ബാല്യം*: 1943-ൽ USA-യിൽ ജനനം. കുട്ടിക്കാലത്ത് Gardner പിയാനോ പഠിച്ചു. പക്ഷേ parents പറഞ്ഞു “Music കൊണ്ട് ജീവിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല”. അച്ഛൻ Nazi ജർമ്മനിയിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവൻ. “ഒരു തരം ബുദ്ധി മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളോ?” എന്ന ചോദ്യം ചെറുപ്പത്തിലേ മനസ്സിൽ.

*Harvard-ൽ*: Erik Erikson-ന്റെ student. പിന്നീട് brain-damage ഉള്ള രോഗികളെ പഠിച്ചു. ഒരു patient-ന് സംസാരം പോയി, പക്ഷേ പാട്ട് പാടാൻ കഴിയുന്നു. വേറൊരാൾക്ക് കണക്ക് ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റില്ല, പക്ഷേ map വരയ്ക്കും.

*നിഗമനം*: _“IQ test അളക്കുന്നത് Linguistic + Logical മാത്രം. പക്ഷേ മനുഷ്യന് പല തരം ബുദ്ധി ഉണ്ട്.”_

*1983*: _Frames of Mind_ എന്ന പുസ്തകം. “Intelligence is NOT single. It’s multiple.”
